インフラストラクチャー（英語: infrastructure）とは、「下支えするもの」「下部構造」を指す観念的な用語であり、以下の意味がある。

千葉県の公共下水道普及率は長年全国平均を下回っており、2009年（平成21年）3月末の調査では、全国よりも5%ほど低い67.2%である。千葉市や柏市など北西部の都市では普及率が軒並み80%を超えるが、館山市や旭市などでは10%を下回るなど低い状況にあり、南房総市やいすみ市など公共下水道事業が実施されていない地域も多い。また上水道給水人口比率は94.1%の全国26位、主要道路の舗装率は99.9%と全国1位だが、市町村道舗装率は81.1%と全国25位である。以上のように千葉県のインフラストラクチャは国内でも高い水準とはいえず、県庁の県土整備部などが改善に向けた活動を行っている。

「ノヴィ・サド」の記事における「インフラストラクチャ」の解説
ノヴィ・サドからは、スボティツァとズレニャニンへとつながる高速道路、ベオグラードへつながる幹線道路、ウィーンやブダペスト、キエフ、モスクワなどヨーロッパ各都市へとつながる鉄道が通っている。市内ブレヴァル地区にはセルビア鉄道の鉄道駅がある。 ノヴィ・サドの代表的な建造物としてドナウ川に架かる橋があり、戦争のたびに破壊され、再建が繰り返されている。また、ドナウ川に面していることから、河川港が整備されており、バージや河川タンカーによる物流に活用されている。 ベオグラード・ニコラ・テスラ空港からは90キロメートルほどであり、空港からはヨーロッパ各都市へと航路が結ばれている。
