妊娠中の治療上の注意
多くの薬は妊娠中に使用禁止となる。以下に使用禁止な薬を列記する。
- アンジオテンシン変換酵素阻害薬（ACE阻害薬）
- アンジオテンシン受容体阻害薬
- ニューキノロン系抗生物質
- クロラムフェニコール
- アミノ配糖体
- ST合剤
- テトラサイクリン系抗生物質…黄色歯牙形成のため
こういったことがあるため妊娠高血圧症候群では、一般的な降圧薬は使用しない。以下に述べるような薬を用いる。
- メチルドーパ：降圧薬
- ヒドララジン：降圧薬
処方可能な薬剤
- 解熱鎮痛薬：第一選択薬＝アセトアミノフェン
- 消化器粘膜保護薬：第一選択薬＝スクラルファート(疫学データあり)
- H2ブロッカー：ラニチジン、シメチジン(疫学データあり)
- プロトンポンプインヒビター：オメプラゾール(疫学データあり)。FDA評価ではランソプラゾール、ラベプラゾールも同等。
- 抗ヒスタミン剤：第一選択薬＝クロルフェニラミン、ロラタジン、セチリジン(疫学データあり)
- 気管支喘息治療薬：ステロイド吸入、β刺激吸入薬は安全に用いられる。
- 鎮咳薬：デキストロメトルファンが第一、リン酸コデインが第二選択となる。特にリン酸コデインは妊娠末期は避ける。(疫学データあり)

妊娠中の放射線照射
- 現在では10日規則(10 days rule)は無意味なものと証明されており、緊急時の単純レントゲン撮影は問題ないとされている。無用な照射は避けるべきであるが、必要な際には十分な防護をすれば問題ない。
