偏向報道(へんこうほうどう)とは、ある特定の事象について複数の意見が対立する状況下で、特定の立場からの主張を否定もしくは肯定する意図をもって、直接的・間接的な情報操作を行うといった報道のことである。この言葉はその出来事の利害関係者が使うことが多いと主張する者もいるが、利害関係がなくとも意見が対立する場合、偏向報道であるか否かの判断が分かれることにも留意が必要である。
