双生児（そうせいじ）は、同じ母親の胎内で同時期に発育して生まれた2人の子供である。所謂双子（ふたご）の事であり、多胎児の一種である。多胎児の中では最も件数が多い。受胎時の受精卵の数により、一卵性双生児（いちらんせいそうせいじ）と二卵性双生児（にらんせいそうせいじ）に大別される。
