ソフィア（ブルガリア語: София 発音 [ˈsɔfijɐ] (
音声ファイル) ラテン文字表記：Sofiya、英語: Sofia）は、ブルガリアの首都。ヴィトシャ山のふもとに位置し、ブルガリアの政治・経済・文化・教育の中心地である。2008年の人口は1,346,665人[3]である。北緯42度42分、東経23度20分。
