UZI (SMG)

ウージー（ヘブライ語: עוזי、英語: UZI, Uzi）、またはウジは、イスラエルのIMI社（現 IWI社）製の短機関銃。戦後第一世代を代表する短機関銃である[4]。
注釈
- ^ ただし西ドイツ軍のUZI採用の要因には、ユダヤ人国家であるイスラエルに対して、ユダヤ人を排他したナチス・ドイツとの関係を払拭したと示す、政治的な意図が含まれている
- ^ クロアチアなどの一部を除き、現在はヨーロッパの多くの国軍で制式から外れており、本国イスラエルでもフルサイズのモデルは運用されていない
- ^ このため、射撃中にコッキングハンドルが前後に動くことはない
- ^ しかし、このライフル・グレネードは拳銃用空砲で発射するため命中精度、射程ともに劣っており、実用性はなかった
