ファーゴ（Fargo）は、アメリカ合衆国ノースダコタ州南東部に位置する都市。ミネソタ州との州境になっている北のレッド川（以下、特に断りの無い限り、「レッド川」はこの「北のレッド川」を指す）西岸、ミネアポリス・セントポールの北西約350km、カナダ・マニトバ州ウィニペグの南約360kmに位置する。人口は105,549人（2010年国勢調査）^[2]で州最大、州の総人口の約1/6を占める。ファーゴに郡庁を置くカス郡、およびレッド川対岸のミネソタ州ムーアヘッドに郡庁を置く同州クレイ郡の2郡から成る都市圏は人口208,777人（2010年国勢調査）^[2]を数える。この都市圏にワーペトン小都市圏（リッチランド郡、ミネソタ州ウィルキン郡）を加えた広域都市圏は231,674人（2010年国勢調査）^[2]の人口を抱えている。
