敬語

敬語（けいご、英: honorifics[1]）とは、主体（書き手、話し手など）とその相手（読み手、聞き手）やその話題中の人物との社会的関係（親疎、権力の大小）と態度を表す言語表現である[2]。ポライトネスを実現する手段の1つであり、狭義には体系的に文法化されているものを指すが、広く敬称などの語彙的表現を含む場合もある[3]。
