失われた映画

失われた映画(うしなわれたえいが、英語: lost film)とは、フィルムやスチル写真などの作品を記録したメディアの所在が、映画スタジオのアーカイブ、個人コレクション、アメリカ議会図書館をはじめとする公共アーカイブのいずれにも確認できなくなっている長編ないし短編映画[2]。幻の映画(まぼろしのえいが)と称されることもある[3]。
