空の自由

空の自由（そらのじゆう、英：Freedoms of the air) とは、ある国の航空会社が運航する航空機が別の国の領空内でどのような行動が取れるかについて定めた、商業航空権の集まりのことである。

- ^ 給油のため、予期しない本質的な修理のため、もしくは速やかに着陸を行う必要がある緊急事態が発生した場合に着陸を行うこと[14]。
- ^ 第5の自由が適用されている場合でも容量と頻度に対するさらなる制限により、航空会社はストップオーバーのみ、もしくは一切の運航が行えない可能性もある[17]:131。
- ^ 第5の自由の権利は以下の3種類に分けられる。第三国から被付与国の間で、第三国から他国への権利が付与される'intermediate point'、付与国が航空機の運航を第三国へ継続することを許可する'beyond-point'、付与国が被付与国以外の他の目的地間でのサービスを許可する'behind-point'もしくは'anterior-point'[15]:108[17]:131。
