プライム（′）は「x′」のように文字や数字の肩に添えられる類似物や単位量の分割などを示す記号で、アクセント記号と同じ起源をもつ。ペンで素早く書きつけることからダッシュとも呼ばれる。プライム記号とも呼ばれるがこれはラテン語を用いた印刷用語に起源がある。
