マサチューセッツ州（マサチューセッツしゅう、英: Commonwealth of Massachusetts、[ˌmæsəˈtʃuːsɪts] (
音声ファイル)）は、アメリカ合衆国の州。北東部ニューイングランド6州の一つでもある。独立13州の一つ。マサチューセッツ州は「州」(State) の代わりにコモンウェルスを使っているが、日本語では他州と同様に「州」と訳されている。2020年国勢調査時点での人口は7,029,917人である[1]。アメリカ合衆国の誕生から政治・経済・商工業・文化・教育の中心地として、リーダー的役割を果たしてきた。名称は、先住民のマサチューセッツ人に由来する。

民間開発業者のケープウインドアソシエイツによってマサチューセッツ州ケープコッド沖のナンタケット入り江（英語版）のホースシュー浅瀬で沖合い集合型風力発電施設として468MW級のケープウィンド（英語版）計画が承認されている。計画がスケジュールどおりに進めば アメリカ国内の沿岸地域で初の洋上風力発電所となる予定である。計画は2001年に結成された計画に反対するナンタケット入り江保護同盟（英語版）と対立している。計画の費用は25億ドル とされる。
