イタリア王

イタリア王(イタリアおう、羅: rex Italiae, 伊: re d'Italia)は、君主号の一つで、西方正帝の廃止後にローマ帝国の本土であったイタリア(半島部及び大陸部)を支配した人々が多くの場合に使用した歴史的背景を持つ王位。ただし実態を伴うかについては議論が残り、例えば1870年にヴィットーリオ・エマヌエーレ2世によるローマ占領が行われるまで、長らくイタリアの中心地であったローマ市は歴代国王の支配下になかった。
