天体物理データシステム

天体物理データシステム[1]（Astrophysics Data System、ADS）とは、アメリカ航空宇宙局（NASA）が開発した、査読付き、査読なし合わせて1250万以上の天文学及び物理学の論文を収集している、オンラインデータベースである。大部分の文献の要旨部分と、古い文献についてはGIF形式及びPDF形式により全部を静止画像化したデータを、無料で閲覧することができる。新しい文献については、掲載雑誌のウェブサイトが提供する電子版へのリンクが提示され、それらの電子版は通常、購読者（天文学の研究機関であれば概ね購読している）のみが閲覧できる。システムの運営は、ハーバード・スミソニアン天体物理学センターが行なっている。
