イースター蜂起

イースター蜂起（イースターほうき、英語：Easter Rising、アイルランド語：Éirí Amach na Cásca[1]）は、1916年の復活祭（イースター）週間にアイルランドで起きた武装蜂起である[2]。日本では復活祭蜂起とも呼ばれる。この蜂起はイギリスの支配を終わらせ、アイルランド共和国を樹立する目的でアイルランド共和主義者たちが引き起こしたものである。1798年の反乱以降にアイルランドで起きた最大の反乱であった。
