表面科学（ひょうめんかがく、英語：surface science）は表面または界面を扱う自然科学の一分野のこと。理論、実験両面から様々な研究が行われている。物理学を重視した表面科学を特に表面物理学（surface physics）、化学を重視した表面科学を特に表面化学（surface chemistry）という。
