Google Nowとは、Googleがスマートフォン向けプラットフォーム「Android 4.1 Jelly Bean」の新機能として発表されたパーソナルアシスタント機能の名称である。
Google Nowは、端末内のカレンダー情報、スケジュール情報、GPSによる現在位置情報といった複数の情報を連携させ、ユーザーがどのような情報を必要とするかを予測した上で提示するという。例えば、カレンダーに目的地情報を含む予定を登録しておくと、目的地への所要時間を含む予定情報が提示される。駅や空港に着くと、現在時刻と照らし合わせて次の便の出発時刻などが提示される。こうした仕組みにより、一々検索する前に必要な情報が得られる。Google Nowの紹介サイトではこれを「必要な情報を必要なときに提供する」（Google Now gets you just the right information at just the right time.）と表現している。
Google Nowは、2012年6月に開催されたカンファレンス「Google I/O」でAndroid 4.1 Jelly Beanと共に発表された。スマートフォンにおけるパーソナルアシスタント機能としては、iOS 5に搭載された「Siri」、NTTドコモの「iコンシェル」などがある。音声で喋りかけて操作を指示できるパーソナルアシスタント機能を特に音声エージェント（音声アシスタント）という。
