ゴールウェイ（愛: Gaillimh, アイルランド語発音: [ˈɡal̠ʲɪvʲ], ガリヴ; 英: Galway, /ˈɡɔːlweɪ/, ゴールウェイ）は、アイルランド西部の都市で、ゴールウェイ県の県都である。ゴールウェイ湾の北東の一角に位置し、市内をコリヴ川が流れる。

- ^ Hardiman's History of Galwayによればコリヴ川の元の名前であるAbhainn na Gallimheは、Breasailの娘が落ちておぼれた川、Gallimheに由来する。彼は他に、スペインからの沿岸貿易が陸路での東との交易より普通であったのが知られているので、スペインのガリシア地方に由来することも示唆した。
