マーキュリー・クーガー（Mercury Cougar）は、1967年から1997年および1999年から2002年まで販売された車種で、フォードのマーキュリー部門より販売された。クーガーは製造中のさまざまな時期に、コンバーチブル、4ドアセダン、ステーションワゴン、およびハッチバックとしても販売された。

PART-Iの第45話（「大激走！スーパーマシン」）に登場した、住山率いる強盗団が駆使するアメリカ車。違法なチューンアップが施されており、国内A級ライセンスを持つ強盗団メンバーの運転も相まって、通常の覆面パトカーでは追いつけない程の性能を持つ。このクーガーに対処するため、かねてより製作されていた大門軍団の特殊車両第一号であるマシンXの納車が前倒しにされる。深夜に一般道路上や松田刑事を拉致して高速道路上でマシンXと追跡戦を繰り広げた後、御殿場の崖に追い詰められ、松田を救出した大門らと強盗団との間で繰り広げられた銃撃戦の末、最後は大門が撃ったショットガンによって爆破炎上した。なお、写真集のオンエアリストやDVDパッケージ裏のストーリー解説では、「白いムスタング」と誤表記になっていた（マシンセレクション版ではクーガーと表記されている）。
