ウビナス

ウビナス（Ubinas）は、ペルー南部のアレキパから東へおよそ60キロメートルに位置する成層火山である。火山はアンデス山脈のアンデス火山帯（英語版）の一部を構成する中部火山帯に属し、標高は5,672メートルに達する。また、山頂には幅1.4キロメートル、深さ150メートルのカルデラがある。山体は下部の傾斜の緩やかな部分をウビナスⅠ、上部の傾斜の急な部分をウビナスⅡと呼んで区別する場合があるが、この2つの部分は地質学的に異なる発展段階と噴火の歴史を有している。
