指比

指比(しひ)とは、手の各の長さの比率のこと。最もよく言及されるのは人差し指(示指; 2nd digit)と薬指(環指; 4th digit)の長さの比で、示指環指比(じしかんしひ)、第2指・第4指比(だいにし・だいよんしひ)、2D:4D比とも言われる。2D:4D比は、所定の手の人差し指の長さをその手の薬指の長さで割ることで求められる。人差し指が長ければ2D:4D比は1より大きくなり、薬指が長ければ1より小さくなる。
