ケサル王伝

ケサル王伝（ケサルおうでん、チベット語: གེ་སར་རྒྱལ་པོ་ ワイリー方式：ge sar rgyal po、モンゴル語: Гэсэр Хаан、中国語: 格薩爾王傳 / 格萨尔王传）あるいはゲセル・ハーン物語（ゲセル・ハーンものがたり）は、チベットおよび中央アジアにおける主要な叙事詩である。現在でも140名あまりのケサル吟遊詩人 (チベット人、モンゴル人、ブリヤート人、トゥ族など)によって歌われており、現存する数少ない叙事詩のひとつとしても価値が高い。この叙事詩は約1,000年前のものと推定され、勇胆の王ケサルと彼が治めたという伝説の国家リン王国 (チベット文字：གླིང; ワイリー方式：gLing、発音:Ling)について語られている。なお、ケサルとゲセルはそれぞれこの物語の主人公名のチベット語読みとモンゴル語読みである。
