どうとく だう― 0 【道徳】
(1)ある社会で、人々がそれによって善悪・正邪を判断し、正しく行為するための規範の総体。法律と違い外的強制力としてではなく、個々人の内面的原理として働くものをいい、また宗教と異なって超越者との関係ではなく人間相互の関係を規定するもの。
(2)小・中学校において、道徳教育を行う教育課程。1958年（昭和33）から新設。
(3)〔もっぱら道と徳とを説くことから〕老子の学。

道徳（どうとく、英: morality）は、道徳的規範や道徳性などのこと。倫理はいくつかの意味をもち、道徳を表すことが多い。モラルとも称される。
