原子核物理学および素粒子物理学において、強い相互作用（つよいそうごさよう、英語: strong interaction）または強い力は、強い核力の原因となるメカニズムであり、4つの既知の基本相互作用の1つである。10−15 m (1 フェムトメートル)の範囲では、強い力は電磁気の約137倍、弱い相互作用の100万倍、重力の1038倍である[1]。強い核力は、クォークを陽子や中性子などのハドロン粒子に閉じ込めるため、通常の物質のほとんどをまとめている。さらに、強い力はこれらの中性子や陽子を結合させて原子核を作る。一般的な陽子や中性子の質量のほとんどは、強い力場のエネルギーの結果であり、個々のクォークは陽子の質量の1%程度しか提供していない。
