みずがめ座R星

みずがめ座R星（みずがめざRせい、R Aquarii、R Aqr）は、みずがめ座の変光星である。当初は、一般的な長周期変光星であると考えられていたが、後に共生星という特殊な連星系であることが明らかになった。星系を構成する2つの星の他に、それらを取り巻くガスや塵の顕著な構造がみられることで知られる^[4]。

^ 平均半径は、およそ2AUと見積もられており、1太陽半径 ≈ 0.004649 AU であることから、2 ÷ 0.004649で計算。
^ 出典での表記は、 $\log g[{\mbox{cgs}}]=-0.5$
^ ガイア衛星が測定した年周視差（3.1223ミリ秒）から計算すると、距離はおよそ1,000光年となって、小さからぬかい離がある。この原因はよくわかっていないが、そもそもどちらが測定した年周視差も、ミラ型星の視直径より小さいもので、この測定方法の避けられない不定性かもしれない^[24]。
