ケイ酸（ケイさん、珪酸、silicic acid）とは、化学式 [SiOx(OH)4−2x]n (例:ケイ酸ナトリウムはNa2SiO3)で表されるケイ素、酸素、水素の化合物の総称である。確認されているものとしては、オルトケイ酸 (H4SiO4)、メタケイ酸 (H2SiO3)、メタ二ケイ酸 (H2Si2O5) などがある。単にケイ酸と呼ぶ場合、メタケイ酸のことを示すことが多い。
