シノサウロプテリクス

シノサウロプテリクス（Sinosauropteryx, “中国の竜の翼”）は、中生代白亜紀前期（約1億4400万年前～約9900万年前）に生息した小型の羽毛恐竜である[3]。中国の表記は中華竜鳥（ちゅうかりゅうちょう）、日本でも漢字表記される場合がある[4][5][6]。
注釈
- ^ もともと卵には酸による損傷が見られないことから妊娠している個体とされていたが、カウらは保存位置が骨盤から離れている（スキピオニクスなどで腸が保存されていた領域）点や骨格が幼体の特徴を示す点から、卵はシノサウロプテリクスが飲み込んだものと指摘した。
