ヴァユラプトル （学名 ：Vayuraptor タイ から知られるコエルロサウルス類 。V. nongbualamphuensis [ 2]
属名はヒンドゥー教の風の神ヴァーユ （Vayu）とラテン語で泥棒を意味するラプトル（raptor）の合成語であり、この恐竜が長くしなやかな脛骨を持っており機敏に活動したと考えられることに由来する。種小名は化石の発掘されたNong Bua Lamphu州から[ 2]
推定全長は4-4.5m。ホロタイプ標本は骨の癒合に基づき成熟した個体であることが判明している。 メガラプトルに近縁と考えられるため、長い吻部、大きな爪、軽量な身体、細長い脚を持っていたと思われる[ 2]
