国際連合事務総長

国際連合事務総長（こくさいれんごうじむそうちょう、英語: Secretary-General of the United Nations、UNSGと略称される、フランス語: Secrétaire général des Nations unies）は、国際連合の6つの主要機関のうちの一つである国際連合事務局の代表である。事務局及び事務総長の役割は国際連合憲章第15章（第97条から第101条まで）に規定されている。ただし事務総長の能力・選考方法・在職期間には解釈の余地があり、慣習的に定められている[1]。

- ^ トリグブ・リーの2期目の任期に対してソビエト連邦が異議を申し立てたが、総会で強行採決されて賛成46反対5で承認された。
- ^ 事務総長代理を含めると、グラッドウィン・ジェブの45歳5か月が最年少となる。
