D.ネイピア・アンド・サン(D. Napier & Son Limited)は英国で第一次世界大戦以前(いわゆるブラス・エイジ)からエンジンや自動車を製造していた会社であり、また20世紀の初めから中ごろにはもっとも重要な航空用エンジンメーカーのひとつであった。第一次世界大戦後に製作されたライオンは、戦間期のある時期では世界で最も高出力なエンジンであり、また、セイバーの後期型では3,500 hp (2,600 kW)を発生した。
