菊花章
大勲位菊花章
大勲位菊花章は、我が国の最高位の勲章であり、明治９年に大勲位菊花大綬章が制定され、同２１年に大勲位菊花章頸飾が制定されました。勲章のデザインは、国旗である「日の丸」を象徴する日章を中心に光線（旭光）を配し、回りに菊花と菊葉を配したもので、鈕※１（章と綬の間にあるもの）には菊花を用いています。
また、頸飾は制定の元号である「明」「治」の二字を古篆字※２で飾り、菊花と菊葉が配されています。
