コニードッグ

コニードッグ（英: Coney Island hot dog, Coney dog, Coney）とはホットドッグの一種で、バンズにソーセージを挟んだ上にミートソースをかけたもの。それ以外のトッピングを載せることもある。古典的なアメリカン・ダイナーの献立の一つとして、あるいは「コニーアイランド」と呼ばれるタイプのレストランで提供される。その発祥には主に20世紀初頭のギリシャとマケドニアからの米国移民が関わっている。
