解説

Value プロパティが、セルに格納されている実際のデータオブジェクトであるのに対し、FormattedValue は、このオブジェクトの書式指定済みの表現です。ValueType プロパティと FormattedValueType プロパティは、これらの値のデータ型にそれぞれ対応しています。

このプロパティの値を取得すると、GetFormattedValue メソッドが呼び出され、FormattedValueType プロパティで示された型の等価な表示用の値にセル値が変換されます。これによって DataGridView.CellFormatting イベントが発生します。このイベントを処理して、値の変換をカスタマイズできます。

書式指定に失敗すると、DataGridView.DataError イベントが発生します。このイベントのハンドラがない場合や、ハンドラで DataGridViewDataErrorEventArgs.ThrowException プロパティを true に設定している場合、例外がスローされます。
