ArgumentException	このプロパティの設定時に指定された値が 0 未満です。または指定された値が 1 未満で、AllowUserToAddRows が true に設定されています。
InvalidOperationException	このプロパティを設定したときに、DataSource プロパティが設定されています。

解説

RowCount が現在の値より小さい値に設定された場合、Rows コレクションの末尾から行が削除されます。RowCount が現在の値よりも大きい値に設定された場合、Rows コレクションの末尾に行が追加されます。追加される行は、RowTemplate プロパティで指定された行に基づいています。

RowCount プロパティを 0 に設定すると、DataGridView からすべての行が削除されます。これは、DataGridViewRowCollection.Clear メソッドを呼び出すのと同じです。

メモ
AllowUserToAddRows が true の場合、RowCount は 0 に設定できません。この場合、新規レコード行を除くすべての行を削除するには、DataGridViewRowCollection.Clear メソッドを呼び出します。Clear を呼び出すのも、RowCount を 1 に設定するのも結果は同じですが、前者の方が時間がかかりません。

RowCount プロパティと ColumnCount プロパティを使用して、テキストを表示および編集するための単純な DataGridView を作成できます。列がない DataGridView コントロールに対して RowCount プロパティを 0 より大きい値に設定すると、DataGridViewTextBoxColumn が自動的に追加されます。

使用例
