パラペユトイア

パラペイトイア（Parapeytoia[4]、またはパラペユトイア）は、約5億年前のカンブリア紀に生息したメガケイラ類[5]の化石節足動物の一属。長い爪のある大付属肢と強大な顎に似た脚をもつ、中国の澄江動物群で見つかった Parapeytoia yunnanensis という1種のみが正式に命名される[2]。不完全な化石のみ発見され、かつてラディオドンタ類（アノマロカリス類）と誤解釈されたことで有名な古生物である[2]。
