クライアントへ返される HTTP 出力のステータスを記述する文字列。既定値は "OK" です。

例外

例外の種類	条件
HttpException	HTTP ヘッダーが送信された後に、StatusDescription が設定されています。

使用例

次のコード例の ASP.NET ページでは、StreamWriter クラスを使用して、HttpResponse クラスの 3 つのプロパティである StatusCode、StatusDescription、および Charset の各プロパティの値をテキスト ファイルに書き込みます。このコードでは、まずテキスト ファイルの名前の一部とパスを含む INFO_DIR という名前の定数を作成します。次に、応答ごとに一意のファイル名を生成するために使用するカウントを作成します。続いて、要求に関する情報をファイルに書き込む StreamWriter オブジェクトを参照します。

さらに、WriteLine メソッドを呼び出し、応答が生成された時刻、プロパティ値の順でファイルに書き込みます。最後に、StreamWriter オブジェクトを閉じます。
