解説

固定文字列とは、マネージヒープと互換性があるリテラル文字列オブジェクトであり、ネイティブイメージジェネレータ (Ngen.exe) によってネイティブイメージにシリアル化されています。StringFreezingAttribute 属性では、実行時ではなく、ネイティブイメージの生成時にリテラル文字列をあらかじめ割り当てておくことによってコードを最適化できます。リテラル文字列が固定されると、コードは、ネイティブイメージに含まれるアドレスを使用して簡単に文字列を参照できます。

StringFreezingAttribute は、アセンブリレベルで適用される必要があります。

ヒープ内のオブジェクトが固定文字列を参照する可能性があるため、共通言語ランタイム (CLR) は、固定文字列を含むネイティブイメージをアンロードできません。このため、StringFreezingAttribute クラスは、固定文字列を格納するネイティブイメージの大部分を共有している場合のみ使用します。
