ネットワーク仮想化（ネットワークかそうか、Network Functions Virtualization、NFV） [1] は、IT仮想化のテクノロジーを使用して、ネットワークノード機能のクラス全体をビルディングブロックに仮想化し、接続またはチェーンして通信サービスを作成するネットワークアーキテクチャの概念である。言い換えれば、ネットワークハードウェアをソフトウェアのように扱うこと。
