プルーム

元々は綿毛や羽毛のこと。一般的には「煙流」と呼ばれる、雲のように立ち上る煙や水蒸気を指す。原発事故における爆発などで放射性物質を含んだ気流がプルームとして立ち上ることを特に「放射性プルーム」などという。
