密度行列

量子力学・量子論において、密度行列 (みつどぎょうれつ、英語: density matrix) または密度演算子 (density operator) は、量子状態を表す演算子（またはその行列表示）である。状態ベクトルや波動関数が単独では「純粋状態」しか表現できないのに対し、密度演算子・密度行列は混合状態も表現することができる。
