議論学

議論学（ぎろんがく、英: argumentation theory）とは、「議論」（argument）について研究する学問分野である。具体的には、批判的思考に基づく推論を通じて、結論や合意が形成されるまでの過程（議論過程）について研究する、人文科学・社会科学の諸分野からなる学際的な学問分野である。ここでいう「議論」には、討論、ディベート、対話、会話、説得、交渉、論文といった、様々な言語コミュニケーションが含まれる。これらを研究するにあたって、推論規則や、人間またはAIの思考過程も研究対象となる。
