セルマ (アラバマ州)

セルマ（英: Selma）は、アラバマ州ダラス郡の都市であり、同郡の郡庁所在地である。アラバマ州のブラックベルトと呼ばれる地域では南西、アラバマ川の岸にある。アメリカ合衆国国勢調査局に拠れば、セルマ市の人口は2010年時点で20,756人となっていた[1]。1965年の選挙権運動と、この市から始まったセルマから州都・モンゴメリーへの行進で知られている。
