ブライアン・C・シュミット（Brian C. Schmidt, 1966年 - ）は、カナダのカールトン大学政治学部助教授。

1966年、ドイツ系アメリカ人の家庭に生まれた。

ニューヨーク州立大学アルバニー校で博士号取得後、同大ニュー・プラッツ校、ウェールズ大学を経て、現職。

政治理論専門家ジョン・ガネル(John G. Gunnell)に依拠した方法を用いて、国際関係論の歴史（特に第二次世界大戦以前）の再検討を中心課題としている。
