農耕詩

農耕詩( Georgics [ˈdʒɔːrdʒɪks] ;ラテン語: Georgica[ɡeˈoːrɡɪka] )は、古代ローマの詩人ウェルギリウスによる詩で、紀元前29年に発表された可能性がある[1]。名前が示すように(ギリシャ語のγεωργικά 、geōrgika、すなわち「農業の」)[2]、農業について歌ったものではあるが、のんびりとした牧歌的なものでは決してなく、緊張感のあるものとなっている。
