コバンザメ科

コバンザメ科 (Echeneidae) は条鰭綱スズキ目（2016年発行のFishes of the World 5th EditionではCarangiformes目）に分類される科。コバンザメは「サメ」の名がついてはいるが、硬骨魚類（サメは軟骨魚類）である。コバンイタダキという別称を用いる図鑑や文献もある。一般には食用にしないが、食用とする地方もある。
