ジョン・アデア（英: John Adair、1757年1月9日 - 1840年5月19日）は、ケンタッキー州選出アメリカ合衆国下院議員、上院議員および第8代ケンタッキー州知事を務めたアメリカ合衆国の政治家、軍人、開拓者である。現在のサウスカロライナ州で生まれ、アメリカ独立戦争ではサウスカロライナの民兵隊に仕え、その間イギリス軍に2度捕まって戦争捕虜となった。戦後、アメリカ合衆国憲法を批准するためのサウスカロライナ会議代議員に選ばれた。
