オーム（英: ohm、記号: Ω）は、国際単位系（SI）において一貫性のある電気抵抗（レジスタンス）、およびインピーダンスやリアクタンスの単位である。固有の名称をもつSI組立単位のひとつであり、この名称は電気抵抗に関するオームの法則を発見したドイツの物理学者ゲオルク・ジーモン・オームに由来する。

"In all other cases in which the unit name begins with a vowel, both the final vowel of the prefix and the vowel of the unit name are retained and both are pronounced."
