ポリケチド

ポリケチド (polyketide) とは、アセチルCoAを出発物質とし、マロニルCoAを伸張物質としてポリケトン鎖を合成した後、様々な修飾を受けて生合成された化合物の総称である[1]。めったに使われないシノニムとしてアセトゲニン（acetogenin）およびケチド（ketide）がある[1]。
