ゴリラガラスとは、特殊ガラス材メーカーのCorningが開発した強化ガラスの名称である。
ゴリラガラスは、アルミノケイ酸ガラスと呼ばれる高強度・剛性のガラス素材が使用されている。その強度はプラスチックの数十倍とも言われる。0.5mm前後の薄さが実現可能であり、手触りもよいといった長所もある。このため、ゴリラガラスはスマートフォンのタッチディスプレイや大画面のFPDのディスプレイなどに多く採用されている。
ゴリラガラスを採用している製品の例として、AppleのiPhone 4、サムスン電子のGalaxy Tab、Galaxy Sなどがある。2011年1月現在、280を超える製品モデルにゴリラガラスが搭載されていると発表されている。
なお、2011年1月には日本の旭硝子もアルミノケイ酸ガラス（アルミノシリケートガラス）を用いたスマートフォンなどのタッチディスプレイ向け化学強化ガラス「Dragontrail」を発表している。

ゴリラガラス（Gorilla Glass）はコーニングによって開発された特殊ガラスの名称である[1]。後に改良され、ゴリラガラス2、ゴリラガラス3、ゴリラガラス4、ゴリラガラス5、ゴリラガラス6、ゴリラガラスVictusへと進化している。
