薬物（やくぶつ、英: drug）とは、生物が摂取することでその生理や心理に変化をもたらす物質のことである[3][4]。一般に薬物は、食品や栄養サポートのための物質とは区別される。薬物の摂取方法（投与経路）には、吸入、注射、喫煙、皮膚に貼るパッチを介した吸収、座薬、または舌下で溶かすなどがある。
